Introduction
To fulfill the fundamental purpose of
improving student learning, assessment in ENG101 First Year Composition is
conducted on a department-wide basis, utilizing both
direct measures of student learning and indirect measures of student learning. District wide course
competencies for
ENG 101 and
ENG 107 have been adopted.
