Maintenance
of a Web site is just as important, and time-intensive, as creating a site.
If viewers visit your site more than once, or on a regular basis, then
it is essential that the content be up-dated frequently and regularly.

Develop a schedule
to keep information up to date

Respond to visitor's
emails within 24 hours
Faculty
members who maintain Department Web sites should have appropriate release
time and/or compensation for the work and time involved in maintaining
the Department Web. Additionally, faculty web facilitators are members
of the Web Steering
Committee (which reports to the College
Technology Committee) at GCC |
