When learning any new skill, a supportive learning team can help people learn with more efficiency and less frustration. Your learning team might include one or more department colleagues and some interested students. Faculty who serve as Department Web Facilitators are available for advice. The GCC Web Steering Committee, which reports to the College Technology Committee, meets monthly and welcomes your input.  They have developed the GCC World Wide Web Guidelines to address issues in web publishing. Additionally, they have recommended guidelines for the job of Department Web Facilitator. Other campus groups offer more specific help:

• Web Development Discussion group is an email discussion group where web writers can ask questions and get advice from colleagues who create web sites
• GCC's TED (Training and Educational Development Center, located  in HT2, offers courses,  videotapes, resources, and personal one-on-one tutoring on Friday afternoons
• Innovation Center personnel can help implement your ideas
• HELP Desk can assist with technical, network, and hardware problems
• Office of Information Technology (Network Services) maintains the college's computing resources
• GCIS (GC Information Services) provide documentation and help
