The borders are flooded with a constant flow of legal and illegal aliens, from many different countries. These people are striving for a home where there is freedom in the air, and hope for economic salvation. Should these immigrant be able to leave their unstable countries and migrate into ours? This question is a major concern to our goverment and to the American people. There are many arguments to this question, such as: should our borders be closed, open or regulated? Facts show however, immigration threatens life in the United States.

 In the past America was home to anyone who wanted to take a chance at a new life in a new country. Back then however, there was no concern of over population or economic downfall. Back in those days the concern was economic growth and the building of a great country. Many years have past since those values were important, a beautiful nation was built, and our nation has grown into an economic super power.

 Yes, our nation is in fact a nation of immigrants, many different races and ethnic backgrounds form this beautiful country. This variety of people formed America's history as we know it. Along the way there has been many revolutions, downfalls and joyful times. These different people have each contributed immensly to our flourishing countries culture.

 Now and in the future the flow of immigrants coming and settling in our country must be stopped. These immigrants come here ivading their leaders, goverment or their countries poverty. They feel that coming to America all that will change. They are wrong. We have all those problems, and them migrating here in alot of instances makes the problem worse. We have enough people and problems in this nation to deal with, without the flow of thousands daily.

 Economically, some immigrants will make it in our society, but the percentage that don't is much greater. These immigrant are taking the low-paying jobs from Americans that would be doing, they are recieving healthcare that we work so hard to pay for. Alot of these immigrant get here and turn to the bad part of our economic industry such as drugs, weapons and gang, mofia and cartel involvement. Yes, this is somewhat of a generalization, but facts show it is in fact happening.

 America is a beautiful place to live, and the variety of people make it that way. But its time we closed the door and pick up the Americans who are down, so we all can enjoy the Grand Canyon before there is an apartment complex in the middle of it.
