The Purple T
so much depends
upon
a purple t
shirt
trimmed with gold
writing
piling up the
green
dollars
So there!
I have ALWAYS hated "The Red Wheelbarrow,"
and now I have destroyed it forever!!!
BWWAAHAHAHA!
Ahem. |
The Barefaced Cheek
Blessings on us,
teaching folk,
T-shirted ones, with hearts of oak!
With our gay-wrought upper garb,
The looks of which ne'er* draw a barb;
(I've always wanted to use "ne'er"!)
With our purple
shirts, more purple still
When graced by gold; they're such a thrill;
And with the sunshine on our faces,
We know that we are going places.
Blessings on thee
— the fine, the strong —
'Twas once I who wrote no wrong!
