      Program

"History of American Fashion:  Colonization to 1900"

Presentation by  Karen Zogopolos, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising

Taking a fun and unusual view of America's development through fashion, we will see how the customs and influences of many cultures combined to make our country unique.  Moving through history from colonial buckles and ruffles to the working era of the Industrial Revolution, Early American fashions (colonization to 1900) take on a new look.

We will have "fun" games and lots of prizes for the students.  All students will receive a ticket at the entrance for the door prizes.  All centerpieces will also be given to students with the winning tickets!
