Better Business Bureau - everything you want know about the B.B.B.

Wise Giving Alliance - reports on national soliciting organizations
that are subject to donor inquiries. Information includes activities,
directors, tax status, funding, and, usually, a pie chart showing the
distribution of funds to programs, administration, public relations, etc.
clarkhoward.com - (Team Clark Howard's Consumer Action Center) - an excellent site for consumer issues, such as removing your name from telemarketing and junk mail lists, how to complain effectively (with sample letters), landlords & tenants, paying off a mortgage, scams, cell phone plans, and others.
Edmunds Automobile Prices - practical help with buying a car; "Car Talk" also!
FindLaw
Consumer - provides recent updates on product liability, recalls, and
class action lawsuits, plus basic information on common legal issues..
FTC's web site on Credit - practical consumer information on a wide variety of issues. Official site to help consumers get their free credit report.
Kelley Blue Book - works like the print version, but calculates the auto's variables (mileage, age, and extras) for you.
Recalls.gov provides a list of product recalls.
