programs, initiatives, etc.
- Arizona
Department of Education - resources for Arizona students, parents, and
educators, including testing and academic standards, school funding, certification,
and professional development.
- The
Big Payoff: Educational Attainment and Synthetic Estimates of Work-Life
Earnings - This report compares earnings based on the level of education
attained, i.e., the value of an education for increasing earning power.

- Charter
Schools (Arizona Dept. of Education) - comprehensive information for
parents and educators on Arizona charter schools, with links to related

- CollegeSource
Online - Catalogs, web sites, and brief descriptions of over 16,000
colleges and universities. This database can only be accessed on the
GCC campus.

Profiles provides in-depth profiles of colleges with information about
academics, expenses, facilities, athletics, etc. Specific types of colleges
can be selected: Catholic, Christian, Women's, and Black. Information on
College Cheerleading and Athletic Coaches is included.
- Community
Colleges - listed by state .
- My Majors - provides interactive advice about vocations and colleges. Registration required..
- Princeton Review - provides informaiton regarding higher education institutions. Includses testing and financial information.
- Virtual
Campus Tours links to campus web cams, maps, college videos, etc. for
over 800 colleges.

Dept. of Education - find out who is eligible for financial aid and

of Education Statistics - a compilation of statistical information from
the National Center of Education Statistics covering American education
from kindergarten to graduate school. Nationwide in scope. Issued annually.
- Indicators
of School Crime and Safety (from the National Center for Education Statistics)
- National
Center for Education Statistics is a great source for education statistics,
including the Digest of Education Statistics, Condition of Education, etc.
The site provides access to current and past reports in html and pdf formats.
