U.S. Department of Labor General Career Resources
- Occupational Outlook Handbook: Searchable career database providing information on training and education needed, earnings, expected job prospects, what workers do on the job, working condition, and more.
- Psychologists: Information on a career as a psychologist can be found here.
- O*NET OnLine: Occupational Information Network. Under Find Occupations you can do a keyword search on any career topic of your choosing, like "psychology". For each job report, you can learn about the tasks involved, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed, work activities and context, related occupations, wages, and more. You also can find detailed wage information for your state.

- American Psychological Association: The largest organization of psychologists in the United States provides several sources of information for students interested in careers in psychology.
- AllPsychologyCareers.com: Contains information about careers based in psychology, information about fields and topics, and licensure information for psychologists, counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists.
