  • Login To WebExpress
      1. Launch the Netscape Communicator application.
      2. At the Location box, enter the following URL:

      3. http://gcmail.maricopa.edu/weblogin.html
      4. Press Return.
      5. Click in the username box, then enter your username.
      6. Click in the password box, then enter your password.
      7. Click Login.
    Set WebExpress Preferences
      1. Click the Preferences link on the N-PLEX WebExpress Toolbar.

      2. The Mailbox Options screen will display by default after clicking on the Preferences link.
      3. Click the desired action button to set the preferences for each option.


    Mailbox Options

      1. The Mailbox Options screen displays as the default screen.
      2. Enter the recommended preferences shown below.
      3. Number of messages displayed between graphics  10
        Time (in seconds) between checks for new mail 900
        Size of text 0
      4. Click the Save Changes button.


    Send Options

      1. Click the Send button in the Preferences toolbar.
      2. Enter the information shown below.
      3. Copy sent mail to mailbox YES
        Mailbox to copy message to Sent
      4. Click the Save Changes button.


    Reply Options

      1. Click the Reply button in the Preferences toolbar.
      2. Enter the information shown below.
      3. Use Reply-To address if it exists YES
        Include text of message in reply YES
        String to designate included text >
        Reply to all recipients NO
      4. Click the Save Changes button.


    Remote Mailboxes


    Read Message Options

      1. Click the Read Message button in the

      2. Preferences toolbar.
      3. Enter the information shown below.
      4. Display HTML as source NO
        Display messages in fixed font YES
        Automatically display attached images YES
        Show full headers NO
        Automatically remove deleted messages NO
      5. Click the Save Changes button.


    Compose Options

      1. Click the Compose button in the Preferences toolbar.
      2. Enter the your full name, e-mail address, and other options as shown below.

        Signature
      4. The Signature file is an optional field.  Enter the desired information for your

      5. signature file such as your name, title, department, and phone number.
      6. Click the Save Changes button.


    Folders Options


    Access WebExpress Help

      1. From the N-PLEX WebExpress toolbar, click the Help link.
      2. Click the appropriate action button for the desired topic on the User Guide toolbar.
      3. Click the Close button to exit the Help menu.


    Create a New Folder

      1. Click the Preferences link on the N-PLEX WebExpress Toolbar.
      2. Click the Folders button.
      3. Enter the folder name in the Add new mailbox field.
      4. Click the Add button.
      5. Click the View Messages button to close the Preferences menu.


    Delete a Folder

      1. Click the Preferences link on the N-PLEX WebExpress Toolbar.
      2. Click the Folders button.
      3. Select the desired folder from the drop-down menu of the Delete mailbox field.
      4. Click the Delete button.
      5. Click OK on the dialog box.
      6. Click the View Messages button to close the Preferences menu.


    Select Single or Multiple Messages

      1. From the N-PLEX WebExpress toolbar, click the View Messages link.
      2. From the drop-down menu on the Read Mail screen, select the desired folder.

        To select single or multiple messages, click once in the checkbox to the left
        of the desired message. Selected messages will display a checkmark.
        To select all messages, click once in the checkbox to the left of the "Select all
        displayed messages" option.
        To deselect messages, click once in the desired checkbox(es) to remove the checkmark.


        Delete Single or Multiple Messages

      1. From the N-PLEX WebExpress toolbar, click the View Messages link.
      2. From the drop-down menu on the Read Mail screen, select the desired folder.
      3. Click the checkbox(es) to select the desired message(s).
      4. Click the Delete button. The message will be marked as deleted and will remain in

      5. the currently displayed folder.


    Retrieve Single or Multiple Deleted Messages

      1. From the N-PLEX WebExpress toolbar, click the View Messages link.
      2. From the drop-down menu on the Read Mail screen, select the desired folder.
      3. Click the checkbox(es) to select the desired message(s).
      4. Click the Undelete button. The message will no longer be marked as deleted.


    Clear Deleted Messages

      1. From the N-PLEX WebExpress toolbar, click the View Messages link.
      2. From the drop-down menu on the Read Mail screen, select the desired folder.
      3. Click the Clear Deleted Mail button. All messages marked as deleted will be

      4. permanently removed.


    File Single or Multiple Messages

      1. Click the View Messages link to display the Read Mail screen.
      2. At the Read Mail Screen, select the desired folder from the drop-down menu,

      3. then click the Open button.
      4. Click the checkbox(es) to select the desired message(s).
      5. Select the desired folder to file the message(s) from the drop-down menu,

      6. then click the Save button.
