Creating a Template

If there’s a message you send on a regular basis, you may want to type and format the portion of the message that always stays the same and save that as a template.Using the template provides all the text and formatting for new messages whenever you want.Next you’ll take the table you’ve been working with and save it as a template.

1.Select File from the menu bar.

2.Select Save As.

3.Select Template.
 

Files saved as Templates are placed in a Template folder.

4.Close the composition window.

5.Select the Template folder.

6.Click once on your template to view it.

Using Templates

Once you’ve created a template, it can be used as many times as needed.

1.Select your Template folder.

2.Select the template you want to use.

3.Double-click on the template to open a composition window for a new message based on the template.

4.Complete the message and send it.
