Attendance Policy and Records
Students must be registered for class in order to attend. Attendance requirements are determined by the course instructor. Students who fail to attend the first scheduled class or fail to inform the instructor of their absence in advance should be dropped.Recorded attendance for each class period is very important. If you choose to drop a student (whether at the student's request or not) you must list the last day he or she attended class on the drop card, along with a drop reason.
Absences for Religious Holidays and Official Absences shall not count against the number of absences allowed by an instructor.
