Anticipated Growth and Development Projects

Glendale Community College

1996 - 2002

The explosive growth in computing and network demands from administration, faculty and students in the past 6 years pales in comparison to what is planned in the next 6 years. Personal computers will have gone from stand-alone machines with one or two applications to multimedia workstations with gigabytes of storage and access to an incredible array of network resources and information.

Many of these new systems have already gone on-line, and most projects and construction have already started. While new hardware and software are important ingredients, a responsive and proactive support staff unified with a solid training agenda are vital to a successful outcome.
