DIGITAL ANIMATION PROGRAM
Multimedia Degree in Digital Animation is a two year program that offers students the opportunity to develop skills in both traditional and digital methods of animation. Hands-on figure drawing, storyboarding and layout, 3-D modeling and animation are integrated with digital effects. Graduates prepare for careers in independent animation studios, games, advertising, television and film as 3D specialists and digital effects artists. Demand is increasing for talented, creative individuals well versed in digital media and 3D modeling and animation.
The Multimedia AAS degree requires completion of 64 credit hours. The General Studies requirements are 25 Credits; Multimedia Core required course are 14 Credits and the Digital Animation Track special courses require completion of 25 Credits.
Students are advised to complete the Core requirements concurrently with the General Study courses during the first year of study. Program specific courses should be taken during the second year of study.
