Corvette, Viper, Mustang, Solstice, Sky! These are just a few of the hot cars that make up the large fleet of training vehicles in the Automotive Technology Program at Glendale Community College. Students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience come here to learn the latest in vehicle technology and repair as taught by an expert staff of professional and dedicated instructors.

Combining years of experience, numerous factory certifications, and industry standard ASE credentials, the instructional staff at Glendale Community College trains students in all facets of vehicle mechanical and electronic diagnosis and repair.

Automotive training options at Glendale include three major manufacturer sponsored degree programs offered in cooperation with General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. Also available are a General Automotive Program degree path, a Modular Accelerated Training (MAT) program, and a wide variety of individual training classes. Tuition assistance, scholarships and grants, and cooperative school/work programs can assist with costs for those students who qualify.

Exciting future programs are slated to keep pace with rapidly changing vehicle technologies. Hybrid vehicles, hydrogen power, electric cars, and “green” HVAC systems are but a few of the emerging technologies that will impact the development of future classes and keep Glendale’s Automotive programs going fast into the future.
