Accessing the Microbiology Simulation Software

At GCC

To access the simulation experiments from an Instructional Palette computer, you will need to follow the steps listed below:

1. if you have not already done so, log on to the Palette (using your Palette user name and password)
2. press on the start button (in the lower left hand corner of the screen) and select "Programs"
3. while continuing to hold the mouse button down, navigate to "Biology" on the program menu and then select "Microbiology Simulation Experiments" and then the particular experiment you are interested in doing.

These steps should bring up that program.

1. if you have not already done so, log on to the Palette (using your Palette user name and password)
2. find and doubleclick on each of the following in sequence:
   • My Computer
   • shared on gccaz.edu (S): (You will find this under Network Drives)
   • courses
   • BIO
   • Start
   • Microbiology Simulations
   • Shortcut for the program you are interested in
