What is CIS105?

CIS105 is an introductory course to the field of Computer Information Systems. The materials present an overview of computer information systems and fundamental computer concepts. In addition to a text-book presentation of the discipline, students will receive hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and the Internet.


Will CIS105 transfer?      

Historically, this course transferred to ASU as CIS105, to NAU as CIS120, and to U of A as MIS111. Articulation is continually changing so if you are planning to transfer to another school, you should check with them for current status.
