What does this class cover?

This course is the first in a sequence of courses on Microsoft PowerPoint 2003.  The content of this course includes using Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 to: 
  • Create a PowerPoint presentation
  • Edit a PowerPoint presentation
  • Print a PowerPoint presentation in a variety of ways
  • Use PowerPoint's outline feature
  • Use PowerPoint templates
  • Prerequisites: None

    The reasons for taking CIS118 courses at Glendale Community College depend upon your needs.

    1. College Degree

      If you plan to earn a 2 or 4 year degree, these courses may apply to your program.  If you are transferring to a 4 year university/college, these courses will transfer as electives.
    2. Current Employment
      If you are employed NOW and you either perceive that you need to be able to use Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, then the CIS118 courses will help you address this need.
