    Read and do the work for the "Managing Content" chapter

Practice Work
  1. Start Flash
  2. Save the File as GHOSTS
  3. Display the rulers with the snap to option on
  4. Set the Width to 400px the Height to 250px and
  5. Select the Oval tool and set the stroke color to transparent
  6. Using the Oval tool, create a oblong egg shape
  7. Use the Line tool, and draw a horizontal line near the bottom of the shape
  8. Select the lower portion of the shape and delete it
  9. Select the horizontal line and delete it.
  10. You may need to use the arrow tool to ajdust the shape
  11. Use the Line tool to draw a jagged bottom
  12. Select the lower portions of the shape and delete them
  13. Select the jagged line and delete it
  14. Use the oval tool with no stroke and a white fill to create eyes for your ghost
  15. Save the changes to the file
  16. Group the ghost shape
  17. Copy the group and paste a copy
  18. Right-click the copied group and click on Edit Selected
  19. Change the fill color for the ghost shape to a different color
  20. Return to the stage by clicking on Scene 1
  21. Repeat Steps 18 through 21
  22. Set the Background to Black
  23. Overlap the three objects and compare your screen to the following screen shot
  24. Save and Close the file

Assignment
  1. Create a new file and use the necessary tools to replicate the image below. Each of the ghost shapes should be grouped, so that there is a total of three ghosts - each one grouped. It is not necessary to group the Pacman shape
    Movie Properties
    • Movie Width: 400px
    • Movie Height: 200px
    • Background Color: Black
  2. Save the file as CIS120DC04
