What does this class cover?

This course is the first in a sequence of course on Microsoft Project 2003.  The content of this course includes using Microsoft Project 2003 to: 
  • Plan and schedule a project.
  • Monitor the progress of a project and track resource trends.
  • Evaluate alternatives to see the impact of potential schedule changes on cost and project completion.
  • Prepare required management reports.
  • Prerequisites: None. Some computer experience strongly recommended.

    Why should I take the CIS24 classes?

    The reasons for taking CIS124 at Glendale Community College depend upon your needs.

    1. College Degree

      If you plan to earn a 2 or 4 year degree, these courses may apply to your program.  If you are transferring to a 4 year university/college, these courses will transfer as electives.
    2. Current Employment
      If you are employed NOW and you either perceive that you need to be able to use Microsoft Project 2003, then the CIS124 courses will help you address this need.
