| Why should I take Accounting classes? |

The reasons for taking Accounting course(s) at Glendale Community College depend upon your needs.
1. College Degree and Transferring
If you are planning on transferring to one of the four year schools (for example, ASU, U of A or NAU) it is a requirement. You should follow the ABus transfer degree pathway.
2. Two Year College Degree
If you are planning on earning a two year Associate of Applied Science degree there is a Paraprofessional Accounting program.
3. Current Employment
If you are in the business world and you can see that accounting is a very important part of business.
4. Small Business Owner
If you own or operate your own business, you should learn how to properly maintain your accounting records.
