introduction to the world of business is essential knowledge in today's
career market

College Degree
If
you plan to earn a 2 or 4 year degree, these courses will apply to your
program. If you are transferring to a 4 year university/college,
our courses will transfer as electives or core depending upon the school.

small business fail because the owners did not have the fundamental knowledge

arithmetic and application of mathematics to business problems, includes
percentage, interest, discount, and markups. Prerequisites: None. |

Security |

| Principles and
practices of personal and family financial planning, includes savings,
budgeting, credit, buying versus renting and general principles of consumerism.
Prerequisites:

and activities of current local, national, and international business.
An overview of economics, marketing, management and finance. Prerequisites:

Legal theories,
ethical issues and regulatory climate affecting business policies and decisions.

of quantitative optimization methods in operations management decisions.
Prerequisites:
(Grade of "C" or better in MAT150, or MAT151, or MAT152) or equivalent,
or satisfactory score on district placement exam.

in lieu of finite math for business students who intend to transfer to
