MS Outlook is one of the premier Personal Information Manager programs used in the business world today; this software application includes 6 components - E-mail, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, Calendar, and a Journal. GCC's MS Outlook classes have been designed to meet the majority of the Microsoft Office Specialist Outlook 2007 Certification requirements. Each class also satisfies Maricopa Community College District competencies. The BPC106AH 2007 course covers these basic topics:
Introduction:
Launching MS Outlook, working with the screen, etc.
E-mail: Sending and receiving messages, personalizing
messages, creating attachments, sorting messages, creating and managing
folders, filing messages, deleting messages, etc.
Contacts: Creating and modifying contacts, creating
and using a distribution list, sending and receiving contacts, etc.
Calendar:
Creating and modifying appointments and events, etc.
Tasks: Creating and modifying tasks (To-Do lists), completing
tasks, etc.
Notes: Creating, editing, copying, organizing, and sending
notes, etc.
