A Few
Personal Details

I was married for 30 years. Between us, my husband Tex
and I have seven children and eleven
grandchildren. (My grandchildren are
cuter than yours!) My darling Tex
passed away in 2005, and I miss him very much.
I greatly enjoy traveling. I’ve have been to all fifty
states! Tex and I visited the "lower
forty-eight" in our Winnebago, and we took tours to both Alaska
and Hawaii.
We also had a wonderful trip to the British Isles, and during the summer of
1997 we took a cruise to the Scandinavia/Baltic
area (Norway, Denmark, Sweden,
Finland, Russia, Estonia,
and Poland).
On the cruise ship the Grand Princess, cruising the Mediterranean Sea, we
visited a variety of ports. My first
solo trip was a wonderful tour of France, with the GCC French Club,
in 2006. And in 2007 I took a Viking River Cruise in Europe, from Amsterdam to Budapest,
along the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.
Wow! I really enjoyed it!
As we travel, I keep a sharp eye out for the local birds and wildflowers
(Tex called
them "weeds").
