Dear Student,
Welcome to Glendale Community College as we celebrate our 40th anniversary of serving the West Valley! If this is your first time here, you have made a great choice. And, if you are returning, we are delighted to serve you again.
Glendale Community College exists to serve the diverse, changing educational needs of our community and to help you reach your academic and career goals, whatever they may be. We offer a range of pathways for people from all backgrounds and walks of life--recent high school graduates just starting college, students aspiring to transfer to a university, people desiring to change or enhance their careers, and others pursuing special interests through lifelong learning. Since 1965, GCC has proudly opened doors to all these pathways. More than 319,000 prior students can testify to how GCC has enhanced and changed their lives.
As you pursue your goals with us, I hope you will find this catalog a useful tool to make your time at GCC productive and pleasant. There are many services available to you, as well as hundreds of faculty and staff who want to help you achieve success in our friendly, supportive college environment.
