Introduction
Message from the President
To GCC students and prospective students,
I invite you to explore and enjoy the many educational opportunities available to you at Glendale Community College. Our college has provided these exceptional opportunities to the members of our diverse community for more than 40 years. We offer a broad range of courses, certificates and associate of arts degrees for transfer to university programs, career and technical workforce preparation, or personal fulfillment.
As you pursue your goals here, I hope you will use this college catalog as a helpful resource. Refer to it frequently to familiarize yourself with information regarding GCC classes, programs, activities, policies and a wide range of student services. These services include tutoring through the Center for Learning, career counseling through the Counseling and Career Services Department, and math tutoring through Math Solutions in the Math Department. I also encourage you to use our outstanding Web resources as valuable tools in achieving your goals at GCC.
