Reserve Office Training Corps (ROTC) offers, degree seeking individuals, a unique opportunity to develop leadership and management skills by providing motivation, generating confidence, establishing guidelines, and practical application in those things that “make a leader.” At GCC these basic courses are unique for ROTC in that they:

  1. Do not have any military obligation
  2. Teach valuable skills regardless of the student’s future plans
  3. Can normally be used toward general education requirements at ASU
  4. Have no uniform or haircut requirements. Equivalence for some or all of these courses may be granted to veterans, JROTC graduates, national guard or reserve members, or students who attend ROTC summer programs
