Elementary Latin I / 4 credits / 4 periods
Introduction to the basic grammar and vocabulary of the Latin language. Practice reading and translating Latin into English. Prerequisites: None. (F,S,E)
LAT102
Elementary Latin II / 4 credits / 4 periods
Comparative study of English and Latin grammar. Emphasis on analytical thinking, memorization, and familiarization with new terminology. Translation from English and from original works in Latin. Prerequisites: LAT101 or permission of instructor. (S,E)
