PSA Coke booth
The PSA-- the Professional Staff Association--sponsored the Coke booth -- (left) Vicki Wingfield, Counseling Department Secretary, and (right) Dawn Meyer, English Department Administrative Secretary. 
MAT Cotton Candy booth
MAT--Management/ Administrative/ Technological Employees' Organization -- sponsored the cotton candy booth. You can buy fresh popcorn and cotton candy with the tickets -- food that makes you read.
Kid games for prizes
Or, the kids can go on rides using the tickets. Many drawing were held for prizes (books and tickets). GCC Food Services sold hotdogs and other items. 
Faculty Senate M-M-m popcorn booth!
The GCC Faculty Senate sponsored the popcorn booth. Filling a bag is John Griggs, chairman of Foreign Languages.

ACE Plus Program volunteers
More volunteers: Melinda Ornelas, the ACE Plus Program Advisor is on the right with 3 ACE Plus high school students. These students are Achieving a College Education (ACE) Plus seeking career preparation in vocational and technical areas.

The Phoenix Zoo came with lots of stuff to show.

The brave kids and parents got to touch a friendly African cockroach.

The not-so-brave kids and parents got to pet the wild turtle.
