Monday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
TESTING HOURS:
Monday- Friday Applicants must begin testing before 7:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday Applicants must begin testing before 1:00 p.m. Testing will not be available during March 18–21; April 11; and May 7-13 Check for availability at the Computerized Testing Center
PROCESS:
A limited number of spaces may be available for walk-in applicants. No appointments are taken.
Applicants must have a photo ID.
Register for the NET or the HESI-PN Exam in the enrollment center. Applicants are responsible for asking for the correct test.The enrollment center staff is not responsible for an applicant registering for the wrong exam. Below are the sections for Spring 2004.

Once the applicant completes registration and pays for the test at the Cashier’s office, they may proceed to the high tech center for testing. The Cashier’s office is not open on Saturdays or Sundays. Applicants intending to take the exams on Saturdays or Sundays must pre-register and pay fees during regular business hours. Cashier’s office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 7:30 pm and Fridays 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Admission exams may take 2½ to 3 hours to complete.
Allow sufficient time to take the exam.
Applicants must print a copy of exam results prior to leaving the testing center. A printed copy of the exam results must be included when submitting MCCD Nursing Program applications. DON’T FORGET TO REQUEST A PRINTOUT FOR APPLICATION PURPOSES.
Scores on both the NET or the HESI-PN exam scores and date of testing are saved to the student information system (SIS). Testing center staff will check the system for last date of testing. NET retesting is permitted every 60 days, to a maximum of 3 times per year. No retesting of the HESI-PN exam is permitted to determine placement status. However, applicants must re-test if HESI-PN exam was taken more than 6 months prior to admission. Applicants may not repeat the HESI-PN exam to raise score for placement. HESI-PN Exam scores are valid for 6 months. Applicants must repeat the exam if more than 6 months before admission.
