Computer-Aided Instruction

Our CAI lab has a number of educational programs designed to improve skills in English, math, alpha/numeric keyboarding, and grammar. The Lab is open to all persons 16 years and older.

Software Programs:

Registration:
To register, just come in to the center during normal business hours.
 

    1.)    Fill out a white "Intake Form".
                A new Intake form must be completed each semester.
    2.)    Fill out a blue "Registration Form".
                Students enrolled in credit classes do not need to fill out a Registration form.
    3.)   Schedule "Orientation".
                An orientation is needed only if it is the student's first time using the lab.
                Students enrolled in credit classes do not need an orientation.
    4.)    Pay "Lab Fee" and GCC "ID Card" at the Enrollment Center.
                The lab fee is $15.00 for the Spring semester, $10.00 for the Summer semester, and $15.00 for the Fall semester.
                Students enrolled in credit classes are exempt from the fee for the semester they are enrolled.
                ID cards can be obtained in the Enrollment Center.
Scheduling tours:
Instructors who wish to schedule a tour of the computer lab may do so by calling Martina Aranda at 623.845.3811 or Tereza Sarzoza at 623.845.3806

Types of tours available:
single, groups, classes, kids, learning styles.
