Technical Support

The GCC HelpDesk provides support for student use of eGCC. Contact the GCC HelpDesk if you need help with:

  • accessing your files on eGCC
  • memory allocation on eGCC
  • finding your MEID and password

Technical help is also available for Canvas users. Contact Canvas Technical Support if you need help with:

  • Canvas availability
  • Canvas error messages

Contact your instructor if you have questions about:

  • grades
  • content materials
  • course availability

Contact the manufacturer or the store where you bought your computer if you are having hardware trouble.

Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you are having trouble with your home internet connection.

GCC HelpDesk

There are four ways to contact the GCC HelpDesk:

  1. In-person:
    The best way to get help if you are on campus. Our main Helpdesk is located in High Tech Center 1 , just inside the West entrance.
  2. Phone: (623) 845-3555.
    You will be asked a series of security questions to verify your identity and receive help making basic changes, such as resetting your MEID password. The phone line is answered during regular HelpDesk hours listed below.
  3. Email: .
    Please send email from your own account, (preferably your student Gmail account), so it is ensured that information is sent to the correct person. Emails are answered during regular HelpDesk hours listed below.

Fall & Spring hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 8:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Summer hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 8:00pm
Friday - Sunday: Closed


The HelpDesk is located in HT1, inside the West entrance and down the steps on the GCC Main campus.

Canvas Technical Support

Canvas technical support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
