LIMONITE is basically like rust. It is dull and
earthy and in commonly soft and easily broken.
This is a MAGNETITE crystal is a rock called
schist. Magnetite is readily attracted to a magnet.
MALACHITE is normally some shade of green. It
is also soft (H=3.5) and reacts slowly with HCl.
MUSCOVITE is a common variety of mica. It has
perfect cleavage in one direction.
