CRS strives to be an innovative and comprehensive research services team that promotes continuous improvement to enhance student learning and success at Glendale Community College.

Mission

CRS provides research and information services for decision making and continuous improvement at Glendale Community College. The department supports college research, effectiveness, accreditation, assessment, and planning initiatives.

Primary Responsibility
Responsibilty Notes
Research and information services Administration, faculty, and staff depend on CRS for responsive support of their recurring and ad hoc research and information needs
Support college planning processes Strategic planning, planning & budgeting process, department planning, etc.
Support assessment initiatives College-wide, department, program, and course assessment
Support effectiveness initiatives CRS serves as the coordinating unit for effectiveness initiatives throughout the college including monitoring key indicators of institutional effectiveness
Support accreditation initiatives CRS serves as the primary liaison with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association, the college’s accrediting body
