AA Degree (TPD) must consult with a Business Department advisor. All students intending to transfer to any university should consult with a department advisor to determine courses appropriate for transfer.
Description: This program is recommended for those students wishing to
complete the first two years of a bachelor of science degree in the business at MCCCD. All courses must be chosen carefully. Completion of this program does not guarantee admission to a professional program at a university.
The transfer value of a course, including general studies value, is governed by the Course Equivalency Guide (CEG) in force at the time the course is taken. Summer session is included with the previous academic year.
The Professional Program at ASU West. ASU West School of Management offers the junior and senior levels of the undergraduate curriculum. Admission is awarded to those applicants demonstrating the highest promise for professional success.
To be considered for admission to the professional program the student must be admitted to ASU West and must have:
- Completed 56 semester credit units to qualify for junior class
standing.
- Attained a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 for any
courses taken at ASU West or ASU Main or other educational institutions.
- Completed the following SKILL courses with a grade of "C" or better and
a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 in these courses, whether taken at ASU Main or another educational institution:
ACC111 & ACC112 & ACC212 OR
ACC211 & ACC212 OR
ACC230 & ACC240
Accountancy majors must complete:
