Associate of General Studies Degree (AGS)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Associate of General Studies (AGS) degree is recommended to students whose educational goals require flexibility. A minimum of 60 credit hours are required for the AGS degree . The AGS allows students to choose any elective courses numbered 100 or above to complete the degree. Therefore, this degree may be less appropriate for students who intend to transfer to a baccalaureate-granting institution.

Grade Requirement

Grade requirements are listed for specific areas such as the Core where a minimum grade of C is required. Courses applied to other areas may be completed with a minimum grade of D.

Acceptability of Cross-Referenced Courses in AGS Degree

Courses which are cross-referenced with other courses which meet the AGS degree requirements are acceptable options for the degree.
