Helpful hints:

• How to save the files: Right-click on the link (on Macintosh, just hold the mouse button down) and select "Save Target As...", "Save Link Target As..." or "Download File to Disk" (depending on the browser) from the popup menu and proceed to save the linked file.
• EPS format prints best if your software will import it, and if you use a postscript printer. Without a postscript printer, EPS graphics can look shoddy.
• BMP format will work for the rest, but for smooth resolution, should not be sized beyond five inches or so in height or width.
• Always hold the shift key when resizing these graphics to avoid distorted proportions ("stretching" either the height or width).
• For practical on-line displays, the GIF files may be acceptable. To avoid a jagged look, don't resize GIF files within your presentation or web editing program. Use a graphics program to smoothly reduce them (using "anti-aliasing" if available) to the exact size needed, and import that copy into your layout instead.
