- MAT142 - College Mathematics
Working knowledge of college-level mathematics and its applications to real-life problems. Emphasis on understanding mathematical concepts and their applications rather than on manipulative skills. Appropriate for the student whose major does not require college algebra or pre-calculus.
- MAT156 - Mathematics for Elementary Education Majors I
Investigation of mathematical principles and process with an emphasis on various teaching methodologies. Includes number systems, intuitive geometry, problem solving, elementary algebra, measurement, elementary statistics, and probability.
