Introduction

This electronic notebook contains course assessment reports submitted by faculty members in English, Reading and Journalism beginning in Spring, 2006. Each semester, as part of the assessment report submission process, additional assessment reports will be added to build a rich collection of assessment questions, practices and outcomes. You can look at your own reports (of course), at those submitted by others teaching the same course, or by those teaching courses that precede or follow yours.

Departments are required to maintain a "notebook of assessment reports" as part of the college's assessment efforts. We feel an electronic version is more usable and more valuable, and can easily both document our efforts and lead to instructional improvement.
