Glendale Community College.

Glendale Community College's Nursing Department has enjoyed a well-deserved reputation as a leading community college program of nursing since its founding in 1966. Our highly qualified instructors are dedicated to preparing nurses and nursing assistants for the changing world. Our goal is to create a community-based environment for effective teaching and learning in a dynamic, multicultural world. We are working to develop innovative partnerships with the community to enhance education and promote community service.

Waitlist:
Potentially there could be a wait of up to 5 semesters (2.5 Years) from the time you apply until the time you are placed into a MaricopaNursing Program.
We have no way to know if the CEP (Maricopa/NAU Concurrent Enrollment Program) will extend the wait time on the list. However, while waiting you should consider completing all co-requisities for the nursing program AND taking courses such as:

  • HCR 240 Pathophysiology
  • FON 241 Nutrition
  • HCC 145AA Medical Terminology

which will assist you when you are admitted into the program.
