What is the GCC OPA program? OPA is designed to generate more students intending to pursue teaching as a career goal. The program provides a structure and supportive network to promote steady progress towards Arizona State Certification as a professional teacher. Glendale Community College has received Title II funds for this program as a result of a partnership with Arizona State University along with other state universities and community colleges. OPA builds high quality practical classroom training into the first two years of pre-service teacher preparation at Glendale Community College.
