Meet GCC's full-time* Economics faculty:
Paul
D. DePippo, Ph.D. (teaches Spring Semester only). Paul DePippo received his BA and MS degrees from Arizona State University. In 1983 he received his Ph.D. in economics also from Arizona State University. While a doctoral student he was named economics student of the year. Since 1976 he has taught courses on labor economics, intermediate microeconomics, and introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics. Dr. DePippo has served as President of the Glendale Community College Faculty Senate and as President of the Maricopa County Community College District Faculty Association.

Gay
Garesché Gay
Garesché has been teaching at Glendale College since 1987.
She has a BA in economics from the University of Illinois, where
she graduated with high honors and distinction in economics. She
has her MA from the University of Toronto where she was a University
of Toronto Open Fellow. She did work toward an MBA at the University
of Toronto and toward a PhD in economics at Arizona State University.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Garesché worked nine years as
an economist in industry, government, and a non-profit business
research organization.

Hannes
Kvaran Hannes
Kvaran has a BS degree in mathematics and an MS degree in economics
from Eastern Michigan University. His doctoral work at Arizona State
University was in the field of international economic development.
He began teaching at Glendale Community College in the Summer of
1982 and joined the permanent faculty in 1984. At Glendale Community
College he has divided his teaching time among courses in microeconomics,
macroeconomics, algebra, business calculus, and integrated studies.
He has served three terms as a member of the Glendale Community
College Faculty Senate, and serves as the Maricopa District representative
to the state-wide Economics Articulation Task Force.

William
Lamkin, Ph.D. William
Lamkin has a BA in economics from the University of Illinois and
an MA (1976) and a Ph.D. (1983) in political science from the University
of Toronto. While a student at the University of Toronto he was
awarded four Open Fellowships and two International Studies research
grants. He has done extensive postdoctoral work in economics. Dr.
Lamkin has worked as a real estate agent, broker, and property manager
in addition to teaching numerous evening classes at Arizona State
University, Arizona State University West, and Glendale Community
College as an adjunct faculty member. In 1991 he joined the permanent
faculty at Glendale Community College where he teaches a broad range
of economics and political science courses.

Sasha Radisich, Ph.D. Sasha Radisich has a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and a MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University. He spent six years teaching lower-division, upper-division, and graduate Economics courses at California State University, Long Beach, before coming to GCC in 2005.
