Information for Petitioners

The Maricopa County Community College District has established district-wide guidelines for representatives who wish to solicit signatures for petitions. However, the following guidelines governing access to the college premises are specific to the Glendale Community College campus:

• Petitioners must receive approval from the Office of Student Life no less than 3 business days prior to soliciting signatures. To obtain approval a *Petitioner Signature Solicitation/Voter Registration Request must be completed and a copy of the petition must be attached.
• Petitioners may request up to 10 consecutive business days for the purpose of soliciting signatures on campus.
• Petitioners are expected to provide their own table(s), but no more than 2. Tables may be available in the Student Union Hallway however petitioners should be prepared to provide an alternate should a table not be available.
• Designated areas are the Student Union Hallway and Student Union Breezeway only.
• Petitioners are to remain behind tables and are not permitted to approach students to solicit signatures.
