Voice Mail Notification to Pager

If your mailbox has been setup with the pager schedule option, the voice mail system can call your pager to notify you when new messages arrive in your mailbox.  The system can notify you right when a message is received or after a specified time period.  Your pager will display "7318866" as the number left.  You can then call the voice mail system and check your message(s).  The following steps are for turning outcall notification on and setting up a notification schedule.
  1. Dial the VM Center (18866)
  2. Enter your password
  3. Press 4 to select Personal Options
  4. Press 1 to select Notification On/Off
  5. Press 1 to turn notification on
  6. From Personal Options press 4 to select Notification Schedule
  7. Press 1 to select Pager Schedule  (If you don't get the Pager Schedule Option, submit a District Helpdesk work order requesting the Pager Option in VMM for your extension.)
  8. Enter your pager number including the area code (no need to enter 9 for outside)
  9. Enter the range of times you will accept notification calls during weekdays:
    For example:  Beginning time 7:00 is 700 and ending time 10:15 is 1015 
    Press 1 for a.m. or 2 for p.m.
  10. Enter the range of times you will accept notification calls during weekends (as above)
  11. Press 1 to select All messages
  12. Press 5 to notify you immediately
  13. Press 1 to accept the schedule or 2 to review it
  14. Press * to end
