Log Out of Personal Account Manager (PAM)


Login to Personal Account Manager (PAM)

  1. Start Netscape and navigate to the MEMO web page for your college by entering the appropriate web address in the location field of the Netscape Navigator window.

  2. Example: http://domail.maricopa.edu
    cgcmail.maricopa.edu pcmail.maricopa.edu
    domail.maricopa.edu pvmail.maricopa.edu
    emcmail.maricopa.edu riomail.maricopa.edu
    gcmail.maricopa.edu sccmail.maricopa.edu
    gwmail.maricopa.edu smcmail.maricopa.edu
    mcmail.maricopa.edu
  3. Click the link for Personal Account Manager.

  4. The Web Personal Account Manager login screen will display.
  5. Enter your username in this format: firstname.lastname.

  6. Example: chrystle.hall
  7. Press Tab and enter your MEMO Email Password.
  8. Click the Login button. The Web Personal Account Manager will display.

Set Auto Reply
  1. Scroll if necessary to click the cursor in the Autoreply Text window. Then enter the text for your auto reply.

  2. Note: Text does not wrap within the Autoreply Text window, so you should press Return at the end of each line.
  3. Activate the checkbox for "Vacation reply (only send a single copy to a recipient)." With this option activated, the sender will only receive an Autoreply from your account the very first time they send you a message.

  4. Optional:  Activate "Return contents with autoreply message" if you would like to have the Sender’s original message quoted in the Autoreply message that is sent to them.
    Optional:  If you would like the Sender to receive an Autoreply more than once, you may specify how often the same recipient will receive your Autoreply message by entering the number of days at "Message sent to same recipient every _____ day(s)."
  5. Click Update Autoreply text and options to activate your Autoreply. A screen confirming your autoreply has been set will display.
  6. Click Return to Web PAM to take you back to the Web Personal Account Manager.
  7. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Cancel Autoreply
  1. Click the Disable All Autoreply Options and Remove Current Text button. A screen confirming your autoreply has been disabled will display.
  2. Click the Return to Web PAM button to take you back to the Web Personal Account Manager.
  3. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Set Your Account to NOMAIL
  1. Click the Set This Account to NOMAIL button. A message will display stating "Your email forwarding has been updated."
  2. Click the Return to Web Pam button.
  3. Scroll down and click Log off.

Cancel NOMAIL
  1. Delete the "nomail@nomail.maricopa.edu" text located in the Update Autoforward All Mail To field.
  2. Once the text is cleared and the field is empty, click the Update Autoforward All Mail To button.

  3. A message will display stating "Your email forwarding has been updated."
  4. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  5. Scroll down and click Log Off.

 Change Password

Note: Changing your password within the Personal Account Manager (PAM) changes your Email password only and does not affect your Directory password. It is strongly recommended that you change your password using the Personal Administration Tool (PAT). Changing your password in PAT enables you to synchronize your Email and Directory passwords whenever a change is made.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Web Personal Account Manager page.
  2. Click the Change Password button.

  3. A window will display asking you to set and confirm your new password.
  4. Type the new password in both New Password fields.
  5. Click the Change Password button. A message stating that your password has been changed will display.
  6. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  7. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Autoforward Your MEMO Email to a Different Email Address
  1. Click the cursor in the Update Autoforward All Mail to field and type in the email address to which you wish to forward your email.
  2. Click the Update Autoforward All Mail to button.

  3. A message will display stating "Your email forwarding has been updated."
  4. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  5. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Cancel Autoforward of Your MEMO Email to a Different Email Address
  1. Delete the email address located in the Update Autoforward All Mail To field.
  2. Once the text is cleared and the field is empty, click the Update Autoforward All Mail To button.

  3. A message will display stating "Your email forwarding has been updated."
  4. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  5. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Check Your Disk Space

The top portion of the Web Personal Account Manger page shows the Allotted Disk Space and the Amount of Disk Space Used for your MEMO account.


Direct Copies of All Mail to a Different Email Address
  1. Click the cursor in the Update Copies of All Mail To field and type in the email address to which you wish to direct copies of all your email.
  2. Click the Update Copies of All Mail button.

  3. A message will display stating "Your email ‘Copies to:’ has been updated."
  4. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  5. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Cancel Direct Copies of All Mail to a Different Email Address
  1. Delete the email address located in the Update Copies of All Mail To field.
  2. Once the text is cleared and the field is empty, click the Update Copies of All Mail button.

  3. A message will display stating "Your email ‘Copies to:’ has been updated."
  4. Click the Return to Web PAM button.
  5. Scroll down and click Log Off.

Log Out of Personal Account Manager (PAM)
  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Web Personal Account Manager.
  2. Click the Log Off button.
Note: It is very important to click Log Off when finished using the Web Personal Account Manager to ensure that no one with access to your computer will be able to change your MEMO Password or set Autoreply options for your account.
