WebDev 2001 & MCLI Technology Dialogue Day

The Strongest Link:
Round Three

After the second break, the contestants adjusted to another amendment to the rules: they would combine into two teams of four to play Round Three, to earn four points for each match with the audience. The winning team would be determined by combining all points earned by the individuals in the team for all three rounds.

The rest of the participants in the room were asked to answer questions with only one clicker for each table, forming them into teams of five or six with whom to discuss the answers to Round Three questions.

This last segment of the game was presumed to involve the most difficult (that is, controversial or complicated) questions, and the response period was extended to five minutes per question, for only four questions total. Following the display of polling results for each question, commentary was invited. Hence, at this point in the morning the technological activity was overshadowed by the personal interaction of the participants.

Readers of this web site may continue to play along. Note, as the participants at the live conference were told, that few of the answers are likely to match one's opinions exactly -- just try to select the one that comes closest. In addition, readers may contribute additional commentary (to publish along with the comments of the participants) via e-mail.
