Following the continental breakfast, Karen Schwalm, Director of the GCC Innovation Center, welcomed all in attendance and introduced Dr. Anna Solley, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs & Student Development.
Dr. Solley delivered the first part of a PowerPoint presentation entitled, "Maricopa Community Colleges: Remaining the Strongest Link," focusing on statistics, trends and projections pertaining to the population of Maricopa County in the coming years and how the colleges must respond to these developments.
